In collaboration with Clark Orleans Holdings, SGW converted an existing 1920s parking garage in Chicago’s Lincoln Park neighborhood into 10 luxury condominiums.

In order to blend old with new, the four sided brick and stone façade of the original building was restored and serves as a screen wall around the new building. The new glass structure rises up within the brick body of the former building, and the original window openings were left open to the outside air. Each condominium boasts a large outdoor terrace set behind the existing façade, which offers protection from the street.

The building also features two maisonette units on Orleans St. that offer street-level living space, a private entrance, and a private staircase that leads up to the unit’s second floor.
