PRINCIPALS
Mark J. Sullivan is the President and Managing Principal of Sullivan, Goulette & Wilson Architects, the firm he co-founded 25 years ago. He oversees its operations, including urban design and land planning and is an industry specialist in self-storage projects. A registered architect in 28 states, Mark is a member of the Association of Licensed Architects, the National Town Builder’s Association, the Congress for New Urbanism, and the National Council of Architectural Registration Boards. He’s also a member of the Chicago Chapter of the Home Builders Association and the International Code Council, and he sits on the board of the Real Estate Investment Association. Mark earned a Bachelor of Architecture degree from the University of Illinois at Chicago.
Jeffrey P. Goulette is co-founder of Sullivan, Goulette & Wilson Architects and serves as Design Principal. Throughout SGW’s 25 years, Jeff has specialized in the design of multi-family residential developments, and his award-winning work has been featured in national and local publications, as well as on HGTV. He serves on the board of Landmarks Illinois, where he chairs LI’s Fund and Easement Committee, and on the board of the Chicago Chapter of the Institute of Classical Architecture & Art. He’s also a member of the Home Builders Association of Greater Chicago, the Congress for New Urbanism, and the Association of Licensed Architects. Jeff earned a Bachelor of Science in Architecture from the University of Michigan.
Lewis E. Wilson, Principal Emeritus, is a registered architect in Illinois, Michigan, and Maryland. His work led to associateships with several prominent local offices, and he joined SGW as Partner in 2001. Lew’s experience includes the successful completion of projects in areas across the built environment: retail centers, educational, commercial, healthcare, public works, religious, and residential. Serving as a committee chair, he helped lead Chicago’s 2019 Construction Code Modernization. He also sits on the board of the Association of Licensed Architects, the Green Technology Committee of the Home Builders Association of Greater Chicago, and the Chicago Chapter’s Government Affairs Committee. Lew is a member of the Congress for New Urbanism and received a degree in Architectural Technology from the New York Institute of Technology.
