The Home Builders Association of Greater Chicago: 2009 Silver Key award

Honored with a 2009 Homebuilders Association of Greater Chicago Silver Key Award.

All of the brick of the facade is laid with a bright red mortar which works with the red windows to produce a rich color scheme reminiscent of the Chicago buildings of the early part of the twentieth century.

The brick and stone detailing allows the building to engage in a respectful dialogue with the traditional streetscape of the neighborhood.

The fifth unit rises above the body of the building on the north in a tower-like mass which interlocks with the stair tower, and forms a pleasingly asymmetrical composition.
